CHAPTER 3

  "Why didn't you try to save me? she asked. As she drew closer Lizzy saw her face, it wasn't her mother it was Sienna. Sienna stretched  out her hands which seamed abnormally long, her voice echoed in the room "Why? WHY?" her arms wrapped themselves around Lizzy, tightening  and tightening, threatening to squeeze all her life her life out.

  "NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!" she burst out and flung her eyes open to find everybody staring at her.

  "Are you OK?" Roxy asked "You fainted, so we brought you up to your room."

  "I need to see her....I need to see Sienna!"

  "I afraid, you can't. The doctors are scared so they don't allow anyone to see her."Alexander said.

  "Where's Chris?"Lizzy asked looking around the room.

  "I told him, to get some water, he's in the kitchen." Roxy said.

  Lizzy went to get up, but Roxy stopped her and told her to rest. Then they left. Lizzy stayed in bed for a while, just to make sure nobody was paying attention to her or waiting out side her room. Then she crept out to her balcony and climbed down the tree next to her balcony. Ran across the garden and jumped over the fence into the neighbors property. She to the front of the house on to the streets and headed for the hospital.

  30 minutes later, Lizzy was outside the hospital.  "What if they don't let me in?"she asked herself, staring at the fullest moon she had ever seen, "Or they call Roxy?" a shiver went down her spine, Roxy would be so pissed! She had been so full of adrenaline she had run the whole way, it wasn't even that far she noted, about 2 blocks away. She gathered her courage and marched to the front desk

  "Hello" Lizzy said "Do you know where Sienna Evan's room is?" she asked with her biggest smile.

  "Oh, I'm afraid she isn't allowed visits." the receptionist said with a smile, which was clearly a fake.

  "Could you at least tell what floor she's on, she's my granny you see."

  " A of course, she's on the 3rd floor."

  "Thanks!" Lizzy said and raced up to the 3rd floor.

  Lizzy hated hospitals they were so clean and white, she just couldn't stand it. There were no colors at all, it actually looked  like she was in a black and white movie. She started walking down the hall, she passed lots of doors, one said "Manager" on it. Where could her grans room be. A nurse passed by. 

  "Excuse me? Where is the patient bored."

  The nurse gave her a broad smile "Right behind you,dear." she nurse said.

  Lizzy looked behind her, there it was hanging on the wall

  She blushed "Thanks" she said. The nurse probably thought she was retarded or something.

  The nurse just nodded and continued down the hall. Lizzy looked at the board, Sienna's room was No 16, and she was a 10. Then something hit her, she looked at the nurse, she looked almost too cartooned, like your typical nurse with her white dress that was always too short, but yet continued to cover everything. She couldn't be a nurse. Lizzy tried to remember her face, but what drew her attention were those beautiful grey eyes and that extremely long ebony hair. The nurse just turned the corner, Lizzy didn't think twice, she followed the nurse down the hall and couldn't help but notice the injection she was holding, it was a dark purple. Something "clicked" inside her mind, she had seen that somewhere, maybe in one of those old dusty potion books Sienna kept in her library.

  "Damn it!" Lizzy thought "If I only payed attention to potion class" she knew she had seen that potion somewhere. The nurse stopped abruptly Lizzy froze. The nurse walked up to the door next to her and opened. That's when Lizzy remembered that potion caused instant death in the form of a heart attack. Lizzy looked at the door number, "No 16"she gasped. She tiptoed over to the door, it was open a crack so she peeked in. There she saw the nurse ready the injection and plunge it into Sienna's skin

  "NO!" Lizzy screamed and barged into the room.

  Everything happened so quickly. One moment the nurse was next to the bed, the next she was next to Lizzy kicking her in the stomach, and the high heels didn't help. Lizzy fell gauging to the ground and that's when the nurse, or rather the attacker, pulled her up from her hair and gave her the strongest punch Lizzy had ever felt. Her attacker let her fall to ground where she stayed unable to move, where she watched the "nurse" finish injecting the fluid to Sienna. Her vision went blurry as she passed out, Siennas heart monitor showed a continuous "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPP", the last thing she saw were those grey eyes staring at her.
